About Jellyroll |
| Jellyroll
Magazine is a
quarterly online journal of
new American poetry. Maintaining a philosophy that most things in life are inherently interesting, Jellyroll embraces poets of every stripe, and looks for work that draws from a variety of disciplines, fields of study, areas of expertise, lines of inquiry and/or other spheres of ongoing alluring activity, occupation or obsession operating within the omnifarious human expereince. Submissions of previously umpublished poetry of all flavors are welcome, from the quietly insightful and accessible to the outrageously and virtually incomprehensibly experimental. Please send three to five poems in separate Microsoft Word documents (in other words, one poem per file), preferably in rich text format; include a short bio if you like.(Essays and reviews are also welcome.) The editor also looks for artwork and thought-provoking imagery for use on the Jellyroll website or within the journal itself. Please send paintings, drawings, doodles, graphic art, photography or textual art (or any combinations thereof) in a scalable electronic format. No simultaneous submissions, please. Jellyroll is currently accepting submissions for its Winter 2010 issue. Send in your stuff; there's no telling or accounting for what the editor might like. |
